Aligning Chapter Activities with Recent DEI Executive Orders

Dear NCMA Chapter Leaders,

As you know, Executive Orders were issued on January 21, 2025, which impact Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. It is important that all NCMA chapters review and adjust their policies to ensure compliance by April 20, 2025.

NCMA Headquarters has proactively removed DEI programs and references to align with these directives. We advise chapters to assess their DEI-related activities to ensure compliance. We will be providing more information on upcoming calls for chapters.

In the meantime, when engaging in social media, please refrain from commenting on DEI programs in your capacity as an NCMA Chapter leader; personal opinions should be clearly distinguished from those of NCMA or your chapter.
