Dear NCMA Space Coast Chapter Members and Prospective Members,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 program year of the Space Coast Chapter. Your newly elected Board is enthusiastic about planning and delivering high-quality events and learning opportunities designed to enhance your professional career and expand your networking horizons.

On August 6, 2025, we successfully conducted a program workshop to outline this year’s activities. Our program will feature a Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) study group, a golf tournament, a spring contracting conference, and monthly meetings covering topics such as leadership, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) updates, Artificial Intelligence (AI), tariffs, and more.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated new Board committed to providing valuable events and relevant topics. However, our schedule is not set in stone, and we welcome your input and suggestions. Please feel free to reach out to any Board member or use the contact page on our website to share your ideas. Your new board members are:

  • President – Roy Nyquist
  • Senior Vice President – Mr. Todd Tolson
  • Vice President, Programs and Education – Ms. Tiffaney Webb
  • Vice President, Membership and Communications – Ms. Meghan Ferrelli
  • Treasurer – Ms. Danielle Danenhauer
  • Secretary – Mr. David DeFrieze

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to last year’s Board members and all the volunteers who contributed to the success of the previous program year.

Our chapter boasts over 150 members, yet only about 10 members actively participate in our program year. It is important to note that several Florida NCMA chapters have ceased operations due to a lack of volunteers. We have received numerous inquiries from NCMA members across Florida seeking information about our events and training opportunities, as they no longer have a local chapter.

I bring this to your attention to encourage you to volunteer. Most of the assistance we need involves simple, one-time events. Volunteer opportunities include supporting any Board position, assisting with event registration, or serving as an IT guru for our virtual events. Additionally, we are seeking venues for our meetings in both the northern and
southern parts of the Space Coast.

Please consider contributing to the growth and success of our chapter by reaching out
to any Board member to offer your assistance.

In closing, I wish you all a successful career and look forward to meeting you at one of
our chapter events.

Sincerely,
Roy Nyquist
President, Space Coast Chapter
